Mrs. Celesta E. Arnholt, 83, Dies

Mrs. Celesta Eathel Arnholt, 83, of 542 North Gladstone avenue died today at her home after a 3-year illness. Mrs. Arnholt was the wife of Martin E. Arnholt to whom she was married Oct. 28, 1909.

Mrs. Arnholt was born Oct. 15, 1887, in Bartholomew county, the daughter of J.B. and Ida F. Lane Joy. She was a member of the East Columbus Church of Christ, the Loyal Booster class at the church, and the Royal Neighbors lodge.

Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Eva Franklin of Southport, Mrs. Frank Freeman of 2216 Caldwell place and Mrs. Robert Zuckschwerdt of 512 North Gladstone avenue; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Barkes, Inlow and Weaver funeral home by the Rev. Robert Jones. Persons may call from 5 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and until time of services Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook cemetery.
