Janice Sue Hatton, 63, passed away Saturday night, June 14, 2008, at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with the the Rev. Jim Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service.
Janice Sue Hagood was born Dec. 27, 1944, in Granbury, Texas, to Joe Bill and Eula Lois Smith Hagood. She graduated from high school in Altus. She and Carl Ivan Hatton were married Jan. 7, 1967, in Altus. Janice was a homemaker who enjoyed her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hollis.
Mrs. Hatton is survived by her husband Carl Ivan Hatton of the home in Hollis; two sons, Joe Carl (Joey) Hatton of Albuquerque, NM and Don Ivan (Donnie) Hatton of the home in Hollis; one brother, Randy Hagood of Ruidosa, NM; her mother-in-law, Iva Hatton of Altus; one sister-in-law, Barbara Cimino of Altus; one brother-in-law, John Hatton of Iraq; and two nephews, Danny and Lance Brock of Midland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Betty Brock.
