Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Fait, 78, was found dead at her home, 730 Bluff Street, by neighbors Monday afternoon. She had been last seen Saturday night and had apparently died either late Saturday or early Sunday, according to Harry Stewart, Coroner.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Christian Church. The Reverend Karl W. Tuttle will officiate and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetary.

Pallbearers will be Guy Pickering, Frank Hensley, Frank Carr, Buddy Jones, Carl Truitt and Ernest Shipman. The body will lie in state at the Wallace Funeral Home in Fulton.

A native of Hallsville, Mrs. Fait was born on November 4, 1877, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Breedlove. She had lived most of her life in Callaway County.

Her husband, William L. Fait, died in April 1954. The address on Bluff Street had been the family home for the past forty years.

Mrs. Fait was a member of the First Christian Church and was also a member of the Rebekah Queen Council Lodge. She held a 50 year pin in the Royal Neighbors, the only local resipient of that honor.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. T.D. Nesbitt of Peoria, Illinois, Mrs. Myrtle Barnhill of Lamarque, Texas, Mrs. C.L. Stephens of Kansas City, Mrs. H.G. Duncan of Alexandria, Virginia and Mrs. T.B. Zickos of Sheffield, Alabama, one son, William Fait of Seattle, Washington, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
