Alfred H. Benhoff, 74, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Feb. 11, 1934, in Breese, Ill., died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Benhoff was retired from the maintenance department at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. and Minnie, nee Voss, Benhoff; and his brothers and sister, Vince Benhoff, Raymond Benhoff, Wilbert Benhoff and Mildren Frankovich.
Surviving are his wife, Doris, nee Fohne, Benhoff; his brothers and sister, Clarence Benhoff, Wilfred Benhoff and Thresella Britsch; nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Belleville, Ill., with Fr. Von Deeke officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lebanon, Ill.
