James (Jim) William Bryant, 97, of Fulton, Missouri, died November 21, 1994 at the Callaway Community Hospital in Fulton.

He was born on September 8, 1897 in Tyler, Texax, the son of William M. and Ana Lee (Greenway) Bryant. He married Delores Grimm on July 31, 1920, in Fulton and she survives at the home.

Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Betty Martin, Troy, Missouri, Shirley Means, Fulton, Peggy Baker, Columbia, Missouri and Frances Deuel, Columbia, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, three infant children, Bonnie, Leroy and Lillian, one brother, Roy and one sister, Bessie James.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. A lifelong resident of Fulton. He served in W.W.1 and worked as a heavy diesel mechanic at Harbison-Walker, retiring in 1963.

Funeral services will be at 2PM, Friday, November 25, 1994 at Debo Funeral Chapel in Fulton with the reverand Frank Ehman officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetary.

Visitation will be from noon to 2PM, Friday.
