"Mary M. Witwer, 70, a resident of Coffeyville and its vicinity almost continuously for the last 58 years, died at 9:45 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Bessie McCament, 415 E. 10th Street. Mrs. Witwer had been ill two years and in a serious condition the last four months. She was born in Miller County, Missouri, April 18, 1868. Surviving Mrs. Witwer are two daughters, Bessie McCament and Cora McCament, two brothers, Harrison Mace and George Mace, and seven grandchildren. A son, Dean, preceded her in death. Cora McCament has been here the last four months assisting in her mother's care. The body was removed to Skinner Funeral Home pending completion of arrangements for services. Burial will be in Robbins Cemetery."
