Son of J.H. and C.L. Wagers.High School Boy Died in Fulton Thursday:

Ralph Wagers, 14 years, 10 months 10 days old, died in Fulton Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock, following an operation for Appendicitis last Friday. His appendix had ruptered. He was the son of Henley and Clella (Elley) Wagers, who live one mile east of Fulton.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Court Street Methodist Church in Fulton, conducted by the Pastor Reverend David K. Pegues. Burial was in the cemetary at Mt. Carmel.

The young man was a member of the Methodist Church, uniting with that church in extreme youth. He was a worthy member and during his illness bore the suffering without complaint. He had just enrolled as a Junior in the Fulton High School, coming here from the New Bloomfield High School. He is survived by his parents and teo brothers and one sister, Russell, Raymond and Ruth.

Ralph Leonard Wagers, 14 years 10 months and 10 days old, of New Bloomfield, died at 5:00pm on September 17, 1931 at Callaway County Hospital.

Dr. Greene D. McCall, of Fulton, pronounced death caused by General Toxemia, following rupture of the Appendix with fecal discharge into the cavity contributed to by an operation and incision drainage. The informant was Honley Wagers, father of the child.

Ralph was born October 27, 1916, in Callaway County, the son of Honley and Clella (Elley) Wagers. He was a school boy.

Arrangements were under the care of Ray A. Holt of New Bloomfield. Burial was in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
