Mr. Clarence Carlton Allen of Wolf Creek, KY., passed away July 15, 1965 at his home, after a long illness.
He was born May 18, 1882 in Meade Co. KY the son of Willis Allen and Susan Sweeny Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Florence Holloway Allen, 3 daughters, Mrs. Juanita Clardy, Washington D.C., Mrs. Charlie Johnston, Guston, KY,; and Mrs. Willie Young, English, IN., 2 sons, Ernest Allen, Portage, OH. amd Mack Allen, Haskin, OH., He is also survived by 11 grand-children and 12 great-grand-children.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Donald L. Cobb on July 18th 2 p.m. from the chapel of Jenkins Sturgeon Funeral Home. Burial was in the Parr Cemetery directed by Jenkins Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Joe Fritz, Earl Buckler, Douglas allen, Bill Holloway, Bert Allen and Edwin Allen. (Meade Co. Messenger)
