LaVonne was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Elizabeth, to Lester and Faye Abbey. She was married to Walter Maul on March 29, 1948, in Pocatello, Idaho. They lived 60 years together on a ranch outside of Kiowa.
LaVonne was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Walter Maul; and children Nona Bloomquist (Mark) and daughter Melissa, Gary Maul (Deborah) and daughters Mindy and Roxann, Linda Ehmann (David) and daughters Tammi and Misty, Sheila Wakefield (Calvin) and children Shenah and Timothy; Michael Maul (Elba) and children Johnathan and Susan; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were June 13 at Kiowa Creek Community Church Fellowship Hall. Burial followed at the Elizabeth Cemetery.
