Nathan Barwick, 83, veteran of the Spanish-American War, died Wednesday at his home on E. Main Street after a long illness. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ella Mae Barwick; two sons, Calvin Barwick of Falls Church, Va., and Harold F. Barwick of Plant City; two daughters, Mrs. E.T. Ernest of Plant City and Mrs. H. Keen of Wauchula; two stepsons, Lester Cannon of Jacksonville and Henry Cannon in Alabama with the US Army; 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
