Services for Mrs. Fred (Adelia) Maack, 72, RFD 3, who died at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday in Porter Memorial hospital after a week's illness, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Salem Evangelical and Reformed church near Wanatah.
The Rev. Edwin Mayer will officiate with burial in the Salem cemetery. Friends may call today at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Peek Funeral home in Wanatah.
Born Nov. 30, 1889, in Michigan City, Mrs. Maack was the daughter of Ernest and Louise (Schroeder) Sadenwater. On Dec. 18, 1912, she was married to Fred Maack, who preceded her in death in 1944.
Surviving are one daughter, Miss Gertrude Maack, at home; three sons, William, RFD 3, Fred, Wanatah, and Harry, East Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Adolph Lubs, Michigan City; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
