Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Meche Babineaux, 65, of 709 Alamo St. will be at 4 p.m. today, April 4th, from St. Margaret Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under direction of Hixon Funeral Home. A rosary was said at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Babineaux died Wednesday morning at her residence. A native of Church Point she had lived in Lake Charles most of her life. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Clifton Babineaux of Lake Charles and Ronny Babineaux of Houston; two daughters, Betty Babineaux of Lake Charles and Theresa Babineaux of Fort Worth, Texas; five brothers, Togene, Eugene, Ernest, Eddie & Theophile Meche all of Lake Charles; four sisters, Mrs. Jeanne Cormier, Mrs. Elizabeth LeJeune and Mrs. Evelyn Ponthieux all of Lake Charles and Rita Aucoin of Mamou and two grandchildren.
