Funeral services for Arthur G. Berge, who died from injuries suffered in a tractor accident, were held Aug. 20, in the Baptist church at Webb. Interment was in Garfield cemetery under the direction of Cobb-Warner Funeral home.
Arthur George Berge, eldest son of George and Alice Berge, was born March 19, 1884 in Dwight, Ill. On April 29, 1905 he was united in marriage to Lillian Mae Burkhart on the Burkhart farm near Webb. This union was blessed with four children.
He leave his wife, Lillian of Webb, Two daughters, Mrs. Iva Grey of Marathon, Mrs. Mildred Parr of Ft. Dodge, two sons Dale B. of Linn Grove, William C. of Storm Lake; two brothers, William F. of Webb and Clarence A. of Colorado Springs, Colo, three grandchildren, Nancy Lee Grey, Raejean Ann Parr and Ann Silvia Berge.
