Funeral services for Homer M. Addison, 88, of DeRidder, will be at 2 p.m. today, May 27, 2005 at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, with the Rev. Roy Nash officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time.
He died Wednesday, May 24, at Beauregard Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Leesville and was a lifelong resident of the Vernon-Beauregard Parish areas. He was employed with Louisiana Experimental Station for many years as well as various farms and cattle ranches in the area.
Survivors include one daughter, Lorene Smith of Reeves; and four grandchildren.
