Brownie Wasson of Lagarto passed on to meet his heavenly father and reunite with his family and friends on June 11, 2008. Brownie was born on December 7, 1932 in Robstown, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Alice; son, Todd Wasson and wife Leann Wasson of Mont Belvieu, TX; daughter Jan Williams and husband Randy Williams of Mont Belvieu, TX; and daughter Rhea Smith and husband Clint Smith of Huffman, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Dover Williams and husband Ryan Williams; Lindsey Wasson Hoskins and husband Houston Hoskins; J T Wasson, Katy Smith, & Rachel Smith.

He is also survived by great grandchildren Elizabeth Williams and Hunter Hoskins.

Visitation will be held at Dobie Funeral Home in Mathis, TX on Friday, June 13, from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at West Shore Baptist Church in Sandia, TX on Saturday, June 14 at 10:00 am and intermittent will follow at Lagarto Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halo Flight and Lagarto Volunteer Fire Department
