GULDEN--In Trenton, NJ, Tuesday, July 19, 1904, John H Gulden, in the 58th year of his age. Funeral private. Requiem high mass as St Francis Church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery.

John H Gulden
John H Gulden died yesterday afternoon as the result of injuries which he sustained several weeks ago when he was run over by a heavy wagon at the United and Globe Rubber Company. He lived at 113 Pennington Avenue.

Mr Gulden was 58 years of age. He leaves a widow, three sons and one daughter. He was a brother of Conrad and the late Anthony Gulden.

He was a Confederate veteran of the Civil War being a resident of Richmond at the outbreak of the strife. He served with Stewart's cavalry and in the battle of Fairfax he was wounded and taken prisoner. He was at the surrender at Appomattox and his company was the last to leave Richmond upon the evacuation of that city by the Confederate troops.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at St Francis Church. The services and interment will be private. Interment will be under the direction of E R Taylor.
