The daughter of L. H. and Phoebe Cherry Barrett.

She married Harry Kelly in 1916.

Eunice was one of many to succumb to pneumonia in 1918. Finding people to help with her burial was difficult, due to fear of becoming infected with the flu epidemic. Her husband, Harry Kelly, a master craftsman, built a "burial Box" for Eunice. He reportedly loaded it onto a wagon and took her to the cemetery and dug the hole himself. Eunice was 23 years 9 months and 7 days old at the time of her death.
