"Another brother, Alexander Robinson, removed to Darby Township in 1818. He, too, had received a liberal education. His farm of 100 acres was in survey 3,687, now owned by G. Hegenderfer and P. S. Blummenschein. Besides attending to agricultural duties, Alexander devoted considerable time to surveying and school teaching. He was the first Treasurer of Union County. His wife was Nancy [Agnes] Caldwell. Mr. Robinson died childless, several years ago at the age-of ninety-two years."
