Albina Corsin born as Marie Albina Hermina Plouffe in Quebec Canada had been living in St. Paul Minnesota with her family but somehow had moved to San Diego possibly after being separated from her husband. She died on June 7 as a result of injuries suffered on May 23 when a car she was riding in with friends rolled over in Laguna near Salt Canyon and PCH. She died in a San Clemente hospital on June 7 from her injuries and her body was sent home to be buried in the Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul. The other woman who was in the car turns out to be her daughter Edna husband's sister Ann Staeheli who married a Paul Chuning of San Diego who was also in the car and were also both injured. The other strange thing is that Albina's husband Edward Corsin listed himself as a "widow" in the 1930 census in Minnesota, 2 years before her actual death, so maybe they were separated as the article refers to Albina's home as San Diego and not Minnesota.
