Green Reginald Duke is the son of Charles Duke and Nancy Elliott Duke. He is the brother of James W., John Paul, Eliza F., Nancy, David D., Martha and Lucy Ann J. Duke. He first married Nancy Emeline Sharp on Sept. 2, 1847 in Rome, Floyd Co, Georgia. They had the following children: Joseph Cornelius, Nancy Elizabeth, Martin Miller, George William, James Alfred C., Julia Ann, Emmeline and Albert Duke. He married second Harriett J. Dillinger Holland Stephens in 1865 in Floyd Co, Georgia. They had the following children: Green Reginald, David Edmond, Eugene, Lucy Lee, Unetta, Artelia, Charles Wright, Joanna " Josie " and William Dison Duke ( our 1st great-grandfather ).
