Harry served as a Second Lieutenant & Co-Pilot on B-25D "Spirit Of Rochester" #41-30496, 71st Bombardment Squadron, 38th Bombardment Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Kings County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on April 3, 1942 at Fort Jay, Governor's Island, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Commercial artist and also as Single, without dependents.

Harry died in the "Line Of Duty" when his B-25, during a practice bombing run on the damaged S.S. Pruth, had a bomb they released knocked off their stabilizer causing them to crash between Idihi Island and Bavo Island during the war.

He was originally interred in Australia and was later repatriated here on March 12, 1948.
