A prominent businesswoman, she was co-owner and operator of Aebersold's Supermarket in Brandenburg Station for many years and was a member of Brandenburg Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore W. Aebersold, a daughter, Vanna Lois Aebersold, a son, Ronald D. Aebersold, a grandson, Michale Aebersold, one sister, five brothers, and a daughter-in-law, Phillis Jupin Aebersold.
Mrs. Aebersold is survived by one son, Theodore Lee "Buck" Aebersold, and a daughter-in-law, Shirley S. Aebersold, both of Brandenburg; one sister, Elsie Collins of Glendale, California; one brother, Jim Milby of Shelbyville, Illinois; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held from Brandenburg Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ron Melton and Rev. Russell East officiating. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, directed by Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were: Gary Chapman, John Aebersold, David H. Benham, John Thomas, Gary Huffines, Doug Aebersold, Bobby Bowman and Bill Pack. Honorary pallbearers were: Gabe Chapman, Gabrey Chapman, Caressa Chapman, Austin Chapman, Cole Aebersold, Megan Aebersold and Shelbi Humphrey.
