Caleb Calvin Kast, 88, of Hernandez died Thursday morning in a local hospital. Mr. Kast was a native of Logan, Iowa and had resided in Pensacola the past 70 years. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, retired Civil Service employee at Pensacola Naval Air Station and a member of the Carpenters Local Union No. 1515. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Smith, Mrs. Lillian Nursey and Mrs. June Walke all of Pensacola; one son, Theodore R. Kast of Pensacola; two brothers, James F. Kast of Morgantown, West Va., and Walter B. Kast of Pensacola; 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
