Born December 17, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to Myrtle Jean and John Acker.
Served in U.S. Navy on nuclear submarines. BSA Silver Beaver. His greatest passions were his family, Mickey Mouse, anything chocolate, Cleveland sports and scouting.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy; sister, Elaine; four married children; 17 grand and two great-grandchildren.

Interment at Utah Veteran's Memorial Park.
