The funeral for Percy Bresett, 68, of 427 Kiah St, was Monday, Aug 12, at the Nichols Funeral Home, with the Rev. Martin Ayer, officiating. Burial was in Ogdensburg Cemetery.
Mr. Bresett died Wednesday Aug 7, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Syracuse.
Surviving are his wife, Lois, four sons, Bert H., Jeff L., and Percy "Rob", all of Ogdensburg, and Chris L. Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; two brothers, Merrill and Lee, both of Ogdensburg; two sisters, Leola Lajoy and Arcy Hughes, both of Ogdensburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers, Murray, Ward, Lawrence, Maynard, and Vernon and three sisters, Lila VanCleff, June Woodley, and Leva Gladle died before him.
Born in DeKalb Junction July 1, 1923, a son of Bert and Maude Liscum Bresett, he married Lois Carr on Sept 2, 1950.
Mr. Bresett, a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, was employed with Antwerp Roofing Company.
