BELCHER--At her home on Kent street, Longmont, Wednesday May 19, 1909, of ingravescent apoplexy, Mrs. Malissee Belcher, wife of Freeman Belcher, aged ?? (can not read) 9 onths and 24 days.
Mrs. Belcher was one of the oldest settlers in this part of Colorado, living in old Burlington and Longmont since 1859. She was born in Michigan and married Jesse H. Greenlee January 28, 1852, and four of their children are now living.
Arthur and Earnest Greenlee, Mrs. Edith Evans and Mrs. J. H. Turrell of Durango, who are expected last night or this morning.
After Mr. Greenlee's death Mrs. Greenlee continued to live on the old farm just south of Longmont, near the sight of old Burlington. Twenty-five years ago she married Freeman Belcher, who survives her. She also leaves a brother, H. T. Corwin of Longmont.
Mrs. Greenlee was a member of the Christian church and the Woman's Relief Corps. The latter will have charge of the funeral which will be held from the residence this Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the interment will take place at the Burlington cemetery.
