Al as he liked to be called, immigrated to Seattle from Norway 15 June 1906 along with his parents Nils Andersen and Karoline Hansen Andersen.

Al was living with brother Harry in 1976 and when Harry passed away in his sleep and Al found him he subsquently had a heart attack and died the same day.
