Stanton O. chase , 76 a long time Wenatchee Valley resident, died monday morning June 10, 1991, in his Wenatchee valley home.
He was born Sept. 21,1914 to James and Birdie (Stanton) Chase. at Wenatchee. He moved at a young age with his family to Bellingham where he received his education. He returned to the Wenatchee valley and worked in various orchards. He married Peggy Shiflett Nov. 1, 1937, at Wenatchee, where they made their first home. Mr. Chase worked for Chief Wenatchee where he was field man and production managers for 20 years before he retired in 1967. He continued to manage his own apple orchard after his retirement.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Stanton O. Chase Jr. of East Wenatchee, three daughters, Janice Lane and Linda Smith both of Wenatchee and Erin Gosma of Seattle; Six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He was proceeded in death by a brother , five sisters and two grandchildren.
