"Nan", "Biggie", "Flossie" - Beulah was called by each of these with love. She was the daughter of Horace Melvin and Margarett L. Martin Cook. She was the twin sister of Trula "Lit" Cook Daugherty; although, their Birth Certificates state that they were born a month apart! On Sept. 11, 1942, she married Max Bishop Nichols, Sr., in Chatsworth, Georgia. Three children were born to the couple: Max Bishop, Jr.; Tondra Gail who sadly passed away only a month after her birth; and Audry Judson. She worked in the hosiery mills in Englewood, TN, but gave that up to raise her wonderful children and to keep a spotless, Christian home.
