Helen, of Laurel, Sussex Co., DE, was a child of Horace W. and Gertrude (nee Hill) Mills.
She was the wife of Ralph L. Spitzer (1918-2007), to whom she was married for sixty-one and a half years, and with whom she shares a grave monument. (See his Find A Grave memorial in this cemetery for additional family details.)
Helen was predeceased by her brother Horace Mills.
She was survived by her husband, daughter Professor Darlene Spitzer-Antezana and her husband Henry E. Antezana, daughter Dr. Michaele Spitzer Russell and her husband Willard T. Russell, and granddaughter Norma E. Antezana.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Seaford, DE, and its Laurel Guild. She was active in the church's Bereavement Committee.
Helen was a beautican by trade, as well as an excellent cook and avid quilter. She won Blue Ribbons for her white potato pie and her Christmas quilt. She also enjoyed being a volunteer knitter for RSVP.
