George Harmon Cruit is the son of George W. Cruit and Mary E. Webb. He married Agnes M. Welsh and had two known children: Gerald W. Cruit and Gertrude Lenore Cruit Gehrich. According to his death certificate; he is buried at Mansfield Cemetery in Richland County Ohio.

"DIES AT HOME

J. H. Cruit, 67, Former Railway Clerk, Succumbs

James H. Cruit, 67, retired railway clerk, died Sunday morning at his home, 14 South Adams street, after a brief illness.

Born Sept. 10, 1877, in Lancaster, he moved to Mansfield 15 years ago. For the past few months he had been employed at the Ideal Electric company. He was a member of the Congregational church in Lucas.

Surviving are his widow, Agnes; one son, Gerald W. Cruit of Canton; a daughter, Mrs. Ellwood Gehrich, of Mansfield, a half-sister, Mrs. Ralph Cruit of Lancaster, and four grandchildren."

The body is at the Wappner funeral home where services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in charge of Rev. James L. Boyer, pastor of the United Brethren church. Burial will be in the Mansfield cemetery."
