OBITUARY
(Published in Borger Daily Herald, November 25, 1940)
Mrs. W.K. Walters, 77, died at her home in Panhandle yesterday afternoon, following a lengthy illness.
Among survivors are two sons, Guy N. and L.A., both of Borger.
Because of weather conditions the sons are unable to get word to other relatives.
The body is at the Carver Funeral Home pending arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. W.K. Walters, 77, Panhandle woman who died Sunday following a lengthy illness, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the O'Neal Funeral Chapel, Panhandle, with the Rev. J.N. Hunt, Baptist pastor of Borger, officiating.
Besides the husband, survivors include five sons, Guy N. and Leslie A., both of Borger, Edgar J. of Minneapolis, Maurice W. of Manhattan, Kans., and Herbert O. of San Francisco; two daughters, Mrs. I.L. Hickox of Sunray, Mrs. E.E. Staples of Glen Gardner, N.J., 25 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J.L. Graham, John O'Keefe, H.R. Courage, C.M. McAndrews, Bob Calloway and Charles Stevens.
Carver Funeral Chapel of Borger is in charge of arrangements.
