Entombment in Serenity Chapel Mausoleum
MADISON - Fred A. Chambliss, 77, died July 8, 2003, after a 10-year struggle with Parkinson's disease. Survivors include his wife, Farrelle Gregory Chambliss; son, Fred A. (Deborah) Chambliss II; daughter, Cheryl (Greg) Chambliss Ippolito; stepson, Jimmy Hackett; stepdaughter, Charlotte Arnold and Diane Halliburton; sisters, Sarah Gansner, Margaret Wise and Ruth Clifton; grandchildren, Trey and Derrick King and Lauren and Michael Chambliss. Mr. Chambliss was a veteran of World War II and a retired vice president of American General. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today with Brother Ronald Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today. Entombment will follow in Serenity Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, P.O. Box 450, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
