Passed away Wednesday, March 29, 1995, at the home of his daughter in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. Age 72 years. He was born August 6, 1922 in Prescott, Michigan, son of the late Charles and Nettie (Drow) Webster. He served overseas with the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Etta Bentley on February 22, 1947; she survives him. He retired from I.B.E.W. Local #557 on September 1, 1984. He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Shields. Surviving are three sons and seven daughters, David Webster (Linda), Oak Harbor, Wash.; Judy Clairmont (Bill), Vassar, Mich.; Betty Myers (Charles), New Freedom, Penn.; Daughter-in-Law Mrs. Thomas (Julie) Webster, Saginaw, Mich.; Ellen Green (Jerry), Grass Valley, Calif.; Shirley Quinnan (Steve), Freeland, Mich.; Patrick Webster, Saginaw, Mich.; James Webster (Becky), Saginaw, Mich.; Kim Plakiotis (Lee), Columbus, N.J.; Renee Webster, Mayville, Mich.; 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Thomas C. Webster; two grandchildren, Jimmy Buckley and Shannon Quinnan; and one brother, Frank Webster. Also surviving are seven sisters and one brother, Eva Hibbard, Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; Vera Ackerman, Mt. Morris, Mich.; Ella Goss, Mt. Morris; Celia Atherton, Durand, Mich.; Joyce Skully, Mt. Morris, Mich.; Illa Bentley, Double Springs, Ala.; Dwain Webster, Sweet Home, Ore.; many nieces and nephews. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
