These graves are on Cane Creek and about 2 miles NE along the Old Morganton Rd. (Dirt Road) from Brittain Church. From the crossing of a paved road and the old Morganton Road directly across the creek from the home of P.B. Owens, III and at a place formerly known as Lane's store , go south along the dirt road down Cane Creek 1.2 mile. Just before crossing a small stream, turn west on a trail about 20 yards and park--walk up the hill paralleling the road back North 0.2 mile up the top of ridge and the graves are at top of ridge. There are at least three other graves besides the two listed.
