DEATH: BUCK CHRISTISON
John Roger ''Buck'' Christison, 52, our beloved husband, dad, grandpa and friend died July 20, 1991.
Born July 12, 1939 in Salt Lake City to John E. and Fern Downey Christison. He married Sherrie Bailey, January 17, 1956, Garfield, Utah. He worked for the Kennecott Copper Refinery for 27 years, retiring in 1986. Member of the LDS Church. Enjoyed sports, he coached Little League and promoted baseball in Magna. Loved by everyone. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
Survived by wife, Magna; children, Steven, Liesl and Greg Kropf, Salt Lake City; Christy and Angelo Zambos, West Jordan; Jonie and Daren VanWagenen, Spokane, Washington; grandchildren, Jason, James, Angie, Dallas, Megan, Mandi; mother-in-law, Jennie Bailey; brothers and sisters-in law, Gene, John, Bill, Leslie and Kathleen Bailey, Joan and Dick Pierce; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, Magna Stake Center, 3084 South 8400 West, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 11:00 to 11:45. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Peel Funeral Home.
