George "Bobby" Carroll, 65, Athens, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Sardis Springs Baptist Church with Tim Keenum and Calvin Inman officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home of Athens directing.
Mr. Carroll was a deacon of Sardis Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Carroll; one daughter, Marcia Carroll Perry; one son, Barry Carroll; two sisters, Elnora Morris and Wilma Smith; one brother, Clarion Carroll; and five grandchildren.
