Mrs. Burns was born November 12, 1938, in Monticello, NY, daughter of the late Arthur E. and Kathryn Murran Case. She was a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church and the Southeast Therapy Animal Resources. She was also a member of the Lowcountry Dog Agility Club, Charleston Kennel Club, National Bloodhound Assn., National Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Assn., Monticello Kennel Club and past president of Rock Hill, New York Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She was previously employed in Hotel Management in New York State and Aruba.
Surviving are one son, Steven A. Burns of Las Vegas, Nevada, one sister, Jean E. and husband, Frederick V. Suter of Mt. Pleasant, SC; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Burns, Sr. and a son, George A. Burns, Jr.
