FAYETTE Irene Bobo Waldrop, age 86, of Fayette, died April 4, 2012, at Fayette Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Carl Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens with Nelson Funeral Home of Fayette directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas Calvin Waldrop; her son, Robert Miles Waldrop; her parents, Eula and Frank Bobo; her sisters, Nell Bryant and Louise Wise; her grandchild, Verronis Waldrop; her parents-in-law, Robert Belton and Euline Waldrop; her sister-in-law, Kathlene Clark; and her great-grandchild, Bradon Waldrop.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Waldrop Porter; her son, Silas Calvin Waldrop Jr.; her sisters, Evelyn Bobo and Dorothy Hayes; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scottie Parker, Mitchell Waldrop, Jason Porter, and Dylan Chambers.
