Clara White, 89, of Postville, died Monday morning, June 2, 2008, at her home after a brief illness.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, by Pastor Steve Brackett.

She was born to Oscar Kristofferson/Christopherson-Morch and Clara Elizabeth Shepperd-Morch.Attended rural school.Piano Recital by the Pupils of Muriel Luers, Monday afternoon, June 15, 1931, she Played Dream Garden by Vandersloot.
In the play "In The Candy Shop" Clara Morch was one in 12 in the Chorus.
She also Received 3rd place in the W.C.T.U. Essay Award in 1934 Freshman-Sophomore.
Was one of 57 to graduate 1936 Cresco High School, Cresco, Iowa.
She was appointed to "Music" for the Albion elects Director, while Delmar her brother was reporter on the Junior Short Course.

She was united in marraige to Russell James White June 16, 1936 Cresco, Howard, Iowa, United States First Lutheran Church by Rev. Norman: Cresco, Howard Co., Iowa.USA

Burial: New Oregon Cemetery, rural route south of Cresco, Howard Co.,Ia. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Schutte Funeral Home in Postville and one hour before services Friday at the church.

Her parents, husband, a son Wesley,and daughter Marilee & husband Daniel Bote, one brother,Delmar Morch and wife Beulah Logsdon-Morch and one grandaughter Debra Sue White preceded her to the next dimension.

Survivors include her children, Jeleen Hutchcroft of Anamosa,Jones Co.,Ia,; Vada (Gerald) Guyer of Postville,Allamakee Co.,Ia.; Arlis (Rebecca) White of St. Olaf,Clayton Co.,Ia.; Harlan (Darlene) White of Postville, Yvonne (Ed) Ellwood of Monticello, Jones Co.,Ia. and Leslie (Rebecca) White of Clermont, Ia; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
