Mr. Austin Garrett Towson, 16, died suddenly Friday (May 30, 2008) at his residence.
He was a native and lived all of his life in Waycross. He was the son of the late Tammy Elizabeth Spivey Towson.
The survivors include his father, Greg Towson of Waycross; his paternal grandparents, Joe and Nancy Towson of Waycross; his maternal grandparents, Donnie and Louise Stephens of Manor; his maternal great grandmother, Lois Copeland of Willacoochee; his paternal great grandmother, Nesbitt Christian of Waycross; an uncle, Scott Towson of Waycross; three aunts, Rhonda Padgett, Lavonne Thomas (husband Tony) and Donna Stevens all of Manor; several cousins including, Matthews Padgett, Caleb Padgett, Maranda Padgett, Curt Thomas and Cassie Thomas.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday (June 5, 2008) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
