Jack was born January 1, 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida to Cannie T. and Sadie Belle Forsyth. Married Gwen Adams February 15, 1957 and from that day on their hearts were as one.Jack was a member of Union Iron Workers Local 27. A loving husband, hard worker, and a good provider for his family, with a giving heart and simple ways, he never met a stranger.
Survived by his wife; five sons, Jack H., Jr.; Jonathan Scott, Lawrence T., Terrance C., Timothy G., five daughters, Pinis F. Robbins, Denise N. Forsyth, Scarlett J. Salazar, Michelle (Sadie) Forsyth, Bridgett J. Record; 30 grandchildren; four brothers; one sister. Preceded in death by two daughters, Julia and Gwen.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 3rd, 1 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services.
Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park
