Ella V. Williamson, 95, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, June 02, 2008 at Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Groves Community Hospice. Ella was born March 23, 1913 in Corder, MO to Hugh and Hattie Mae (Miller) Epperson. She graduated from Corder High School before attending and graduating from the Independence Sanitarium School of Nursing. Mrs. Williamson was a member of the RLDS church. Ella and her husband Dale owned and operated City Block and Product Co. in Independence. She was an eternal optimist at heart. Nothing was impossible to her! Ella loved her family dearly. She is survived by her son J.D. Williamson and his wife Sharon; grandchildren Michael Williamson, Gwen Tao, Doug and John Williamson, Susan Smith, Scott Webster, Carl Ray Williamson, Jr., Wesley Williamson and Theresa Fendrick; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; brothers Harold and Walter Epperson; her sister Madora Pearce Stonger; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Ella was preceded in death by her husband Dale Williamson in '72; by her son Carl Williamson in '01; and two brothers and one sister.
