MITCHELL
Mrs. Lizzie Mitchell, widow of William Mitchell, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Hopper, in Perryville, last Saturday at twenty minutes past twelve o'clock. Mrs. Mitchell had been in remarkably good health for one of her age until a week ago, when she took pneumonia and went into a rapid decline. The funeral was held, Sunday, at the Perryville Presbyterian church, by the pastor, Rev. J. T. Bacher; burial in the Perryville cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell was in her ninety-second year, having been ninety one the 23rd of last November. Her husband died several years ago.

Four children survive her. They are, H. N. Mitchell, of Perryville; James Mitchell, of Rockville, Ind.; and Mrs. Geo. W. Dugan and Mrs. Joseph Hopper, of Perryville. Mrs. Mitchell had living twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The deceased was one of the best women that ever lived in Boyle county. She was a consecrated Christian and in her household and community a shining example for all .

Mrs. Lizzie Mitchell died of pneumonia at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Hopper, Sunday morning at 2 o'clock. Deceased was in her 92nd year, and had always enjoyed excellent health. She was one of the most highly esteemed women in the county, and numbered her friends by her acquaintances. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. T. Bacher, after which the remains were interred in Perryville cemetery.
