Mrs. Elizabeth Latimer died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Harry Allan, on Perryville street, Thursday night, in the seventy-third year of her age, after a lingering illness of consumption. She had been a life-long member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church. After funeral services at the house, the remains were taken to Perryville and interred in the family burying ground. A husband, one daughter and two sons, all of whom were present when the summons came, survive a devoted wife and loving mother.

LATIMER
Mrs. Elizabeth Parks Latimer, wife of Mr. J. B. H. Latimer, died of a complication of diseases, aged 73 years, Thursday, 11 o'clock p.m. at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. J. Harry Allan, on Perryville street. She leaves an aged husband with whom she had most happily lived for fifty six years, a daughter, Mrs. Harry Allan and two sons, Messrs. J. B. Latimer, of Nevada, Mo., and Mr. Arthur T. Latimer, of Nicholasville, to mourn the loss of a faithful and loving wife and kind and devoted mother. A short time before marriage she became a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Perryville and lived a devout member. During her last illness, she was a great sufferer but bore her affliction with christian fortitude. Before the final summons came, she was prepared and willing to go to receive her reward. Yesterday afternoon, her remains were conveyed for interment, to Perryville, where she had spent almost all her long and useful life.
