His second marriage was to Florence Alma Musser on May 21, 1904 in Defiance Co. Ohio (they were later divorced); six children were born to this marriage. His last marriage was to Sadie L. (Woodruff) Boyd on Jan. 3, 1924 in Defiance Co. Ohio (they were later divorced); one daughter was born to this marriage. He spent his final years living with his son, Roger, near Defiance, Ohio.
