Obituary:
Mrs. Amanda Catherine Keck, 61 years old, resident of Huntsville, was found dead in bed Monday, March 14, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Esta Pharris of Route 5, Huntsville. The family of her daughter was not aware of her death until they attempted to awaken her for breakfast. She had not been ill.

The deceased was born April 8, 1885, at Witter, the daughter of William C. Ogden and Nancy E. Miracle Ogden. She was a member of the Baptist Church for thirty years. She was the mother of six children, three of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Hester McElhaney of Witter and Mrs. Esta Pharris of Huntsville; one son, Lester Keck of Huntsville; two brothers, P. A and W. L. Ogden both of near Witter; one sister, Mrs. John Phillips of Elkins; 4 grandchldren, Wayne and Jean Keck, and Louise and Lawrence Pharris, all of Huntsville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Her husband, Nathan C. Keck, died Nov. 14, 1946.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cecil Garrison, Tuesday, March 15, at 2:30 p.m. at Witter with burial in the Witter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Elmer Cook, Elmer Whorton, Andrew McFee, Garner Bolinger, C. M. Pierce and Taylor Hubbard
