Daniel Luther McLeod Jr.,74 of 156 Park St., died Tuesday. Services will be held at 11a.m Friday in Shurlington Church of God. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.. The Rev. Lewis Stover, the Rev. Malvin Palmer and the Rev. Edward Brumlow will officiate.
Mr. McLeod, a native of Slocomb, Ala., had lived in Macon for 28 years. He was a member of the Shurlington Church of God and was retired from the maintenance department at Wesleyan College.
Survivors include his wife Mozelle McLeod of Macon; three daughters, Mrs. Jeanine Mason and Miss. Morion McLeod of Macon, and Mrs. Sandra Grover of Chicago; a son, Daniel Larry McLeod of Conyers; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys DeFoor of Albany, Mrs. Voncile White of Atlanta, Mrs. Matha Hayes , Mrs. Athalia Howell and Mrs. Laura Jean Shulz of Murphy, NC; a brother J. B. McLeod of Essex, England; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 2272 Ollie Drive, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. George Mason.
Memorial Chapel, Funeral Directors has charge of arrangements.
