Carrie Lena Farrar, of Camden, age 99, were held Thursday, May 22, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home with Johnnie B. Arnold officiating. Burial followed at Flatwoods Cemetery. Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home of Camden was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Farrar passed away Wednesday, May 21 at Camden General Hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1908 in Benton Co. to the late Arthur Melton and Vera Keneva Melton. She was a homemaker and a member of Flatwoods Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Billy" Farrar, two sisters, Myrtie Berry and Doy Stone, and four brothers, Donley, Vonnie, Henley, and Glynn Melton.
She is survived by a son, William D. (Joan) Farrar, of Camden; one grandson, one great-granddaughter, and two great-great-grandsons.
