Ray F. Bringhurst, age 69, passed away February 11, 1995, in Salt Lake City.

Born Oct. 7,1925, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Arthur B. and Estella Whitehead Bringhurst. He married Lucille Hamann on Nov. 17, 1945 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Retired Ironworker's Local #27. Member of the DAV and served in World War II recieving two purple Hearts and a Silver Star awards.Survived by his wife Lucille, one son and two daughters, Carol Rae (husband, Joseph) Moore, Cathy Jensen, Frank A. (wife, Karen) Bringhurst; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (wife, Marilyn) Bringhurst; two sisters, Emily (husband, Willard) Smith, Nancy (husband John) Pollick; Preceded in death by two brothers and a son-in-law, Kay Jensen.

Graveside service will be held Thursday Feb. 16, 1995, 1:00 pm at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 1750 East 3300 So. Friends may call Thursday from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East. Interment Wasatch Lawn Directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
